Whether you’re traveling cross-country or are simply going on a quick day trip a few towns over, one of the last things you want to experience is car trouble away from home. Unfortunately, breakdowns do happen, and usually at the most inconvenient of times.
So, what can you do when car issues arise while you’re far from your local mechanic?

What Repairs Are Not Covered by Bumper to Bumper?
As with every claim, there are some repairs or services that are not covered by Bumper to Bumper warranties. These include:
Parts that were damaged in an accident or by the owner
These parts are not covered by the warranty, and will instead need to be brought through in an insurance claim.
Parts that wear or deteriorate with constant use
Parts such as tires, brake pads, light bulbs, windshield wipers and the like are not covered by the warranty, and will need to be replaced in a timely manner by the owner.
Repairs with used parts or full engine replacements
Engine replacements and repairs completed with used auto parts are not covered by the warranty. For more info, call your trusted local mechanic.
